The organizations described below base their operations at Flashpoint as participants in the Incubator Residency program.

One in Ten

Founded in 1991, One in Ten works to build community among GLBT people by bringing stories of the global LGBT experience to life on the big screen. At the same time One in Ten began it’s first program, the Reel Affirmations International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. One in Ten's programs include Reel Affirmation: The Nation's LGBT Film Festival, nights of live comedy, educational programs, and collaborations with other arts organizations to tell the stories of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) community.

Maru Montero Dance Company

Founded in 1992, the Maru Montero Dance Company has emerged as the finest and most popular Latin dance company in the nation's capital, performing Mexican folk, cha-cha, mambo, salsa, tango and many other dances from Latin America. The company, founded by former Ballet Folklórico de México lead dancer Maru Montero, is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to promoting the joy and beauty of Latin culture in the United States.

Sol & Soul

Founded in 2000, Sol & Soul promotes, supports, and presents the work of established and emerging artists whose work addresses social issues and furthers the cause of social justice. Sol & Soul is known for the artistic quality and social relevance of its work, for consistently nurturing young and emerging artists, and for bringing people together across lines of race, class, ethnicity and occupation. Sol & Soul's work contributes to the cultural life of this city today, and by developing new voices, ensures that DC will continue to have a strong, diverse, and vibrant artistic and cultural life well into the future.

Solas Nua

Founded in December 2004, Solas Nua (new light) remains the only organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to contemporary Irish Arts, with programming ranging from critically acclaimed theatre seasons to film festivals and literary events. The focus of the company is to introduce new Irish artists and their work to American audiences and to give both sides as many opportunities as possible to interact. Solas Nua is run by DC local, Dan Brick (Producing Director) and Dubliner, Linda Murray (Artistic Director).

Washington Stage Guild

The Washington Stage Guild was founded in 1986 by a company of D.C. area actors, artisans, and administrators dedicated to producing a distinctive repertory of theatrical work in a congenial and supportive atmosphere. Specializing in neglected classics, foreign plays unfamiliar in America, and new works of outstanding merit, the company has gained international acclaim for its literate and lively presentations. The Stage Guild has become known as the place to find plays by Molnar, Schnitzler, Pirandello, Jonson, Marivaux, Wilde, Beaumarchais, and contemporary writers Friel and Fugard. Most of all the company has earned a reputation as one of the world's preeminent presenters of the plays of George Bernard Shaw.
