2007 – 2008 MEAD THEATRE LAB PROGRAM SEASON

Solas Nua: Trad
January 24 – February 17, 2008
    Written by Mark Doherty
    Directed by Linda Murray
A one-armed 100 year-old man sets off on an epic journey across the Irish wilderness with his feisty one-legged father in search of the son he has never met. From this absurd opening premise, Trad takes the audience on a hilarious voyage into the importance of roots and identity with a particularly wry look at what it means to be Irish. Trad proves that in the end, history is only what we want it to be.
