Using common materials such as tape, molding, tiles, line and light, Lenzi creates performance-based drawing installations, which emphasize instability and unrest. With Eastern philosophy as her guide, Nicole Lenzi created an improvisational installation on the gallery floor using two- and three-dimensional materials in response to the space. Her work attempts to broaden the boundaries of seeing, experiencing and defining drawing.
